PeopleStrong in India (Punjab region) seeks an experienced IT/network security professional to support and secure complex infrastructure. You will manage firewalls, AD/DNS, VPNs, and collaboration tools while ensuring reliable storage and SQL services across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes automation, documentation, and ongoing learning; CCNA/CCNP and security certs are preferred. Join a dynamic team delivering robust IT operations and security compliance.

Formación

• 5–10 years of full-time experience in network, server, storage, and IT security.
• Strong firewall management and end-to-end security.
• Knowledge of WAN, LAN, WLAN integration.
• Experience with hardware maintenance and rack setup.
• Active Directory administration and DNS troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, IAM, and VOIP.
• Troubleshooting Office 365, Exchange Online, anti-spam.
• Experience with video conferencing: Zoom, WebEx, Teams.
• NAS storage and SQL in Windows environments.
• Eagerness to learn and automate endpoint provisioning/patching.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Graduate engineer with CCNA/CCNP; MTA cert preferred.
• ISO27001 Lead Implementer and ISC2 Cybersecurity cert preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide end-to-end network and security support across WAN/LAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Maintain hardware and infrastructure; rack/servers and printers.
• Manage Active Directory and DNS in a connected environment.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, and IAM.
• Support and configure Office 365/Exchange Online and anti‑spam solutions.
• Support conferencing tools: Zoom, WebEx, Teams.
• Work with NAS storage and SQL environments.
• Automate provisioning and patching of endpoints.
• Document processes with attention to detail.
• Assist with security certifications and audits as needed.

Job Description

1. 1. At least 5-10 years full-time professional experience supporting network, server, storage, and IT security.
2. 2. Firewalls and Security: End-to-end security in keeping the network secure and maintaining firewalls within the network.
3. 3. Networking: Knowledge of different types of networks and architectures (including WAN, LAN, Wifi Access points) and how they can be integrated into an existing system.
4. 4. Maintenance of Hardware and Infrastructure. Setup of Physical/Virtual server connections and racks, manually configure devices such as printers, or set up Ethernet ports.
5. 5. Strong grasp of Microsoft Active Directory administration, troubleshooting issues in DNS in a connected environment.
6. 6. Working knowledge of TCP/IP concepts, VLANs, Wireless Networking technologies and security, VPN, Identity Access Management, and VOIP concepts.
7. 7. Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online email deliverability issues, and anti-spam solutions
8. 8. Experience supporting conferencing and video conferencing solutions; Skype for Business, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams.
9. 9. Proficiency with shared storage technologies (NAS), Microsoft operating systems, Structured Query Language (SQL)
10. 10. Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies
11. 11. Strong ability and emphasis on automation where applicable; provisioning and patching of endpoints
12. 12. Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication skills, and follow-through
13. 13. Graduate Engineer with CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certifications preferred.
14. 14. Working knowledge of cybersecurity is required. Certification on ISO27001 Lead Implementer (LI) and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) preferred.
