Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional in India to support network, server, storage and security operations across the organization. The role requires 5–10 years of full-time experience, hands-on AD/DNS administration, VPN, VOIP, and firewall security, plus CCNA/CCNP and MTA; ISO27001 LI and ISC2 Cybersecurity credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years full-time experience supporting network, server, storage, and IT security.
• End-to-end security with firewalls within the network.
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN/WiFi and how to integrate into a system.
• Maintenance of hardware, servers, racks, printers, and Ethernet ports.
• Active Directory administration and DNS troubleshooting in a connected environment.
• TCP/IP, VLANs, wireless networking, VPN, IAM, and VOIP concepts.
• Troubleshoot Office 365, Exchange Online delivery, and anti-spam solutions.
• Experience with conferencing/video solutions: Skype for Business, Zoom, WebEx, Teams.
• NAS storage, Windows OS, and SQL knowledge.
• Ability to resolve daily technical issues and learn new technologies.
• Emphasis on automation, endpoint provisioning and patching.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Graduate engineer with CCNA/CCNP; MTA preferred.
• Cybersecurity knowledge required; ISO27001 LI and ISC2 CC preferred.

Job description

• At least 5-10 years full-time professional experience supporting network, server, storage, and IT security.
• Firewalls and Security: End-to-end security in keeping the network secure and maintaining firewalls within the network.
• Networking: Knowledge of different types of networks and architectures (including WAN, LAN, Wifi Access points) and how they can be integrated into an existing system.
• Maintenance of Hardware and Infrastructure. Setup of Physical/Virtual server connections and racks, manually configure devices such as printers, or set up Ethernet ports.
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Active Directory administration, troubleshooting issues in DNS in a connected environment.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP concepts, VLANs, Wireless Networking technologies and security, VPN, Identity Access Management, and VOIP concepts.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online email deliverability issues, and anti-spam solutions
• Experience supporting conferencing and video conferencing solutions; Skype for Business, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams.
• Proficiency with shared storage technologies (NAS), Microsoft operating systems, Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies
• Strong ability and emphasis on automation where applicable; provisioning and patching of endpoints
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication skills, and follow-through
• Graduate Engineer with CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity is required. Certification on ISO27001 Lead Implementer (LI) and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) preferred.
