Job summary

SecNinjaz Technologies LLP is seeking a Network & System Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for our clients. You will work with Cisco/Fortinet devices, virtualized environments, and core network services, ensuring high availability and performance in client environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and security policies, plus Linux/Windows administration and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Network/System Administration or IT Infrastructure.
• CCNA certification is required; additional Fortinet, VMware, Linux or related certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on in client infrastructure deployment and support; strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Hands-on with LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, NAT, DHCP, DNS and basic security.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and coordinate with vendors/clients.
• Deploy and maintain VMware and Proxmox virtualization environments.
• Provide L1–L3 IT infrastructure support; document configurations and changes.

Position

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network & System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, monitoring,troubleshooting, and maintaining network and IT infrastructure forour infra and clients. The candidate should have hands-on experiencewith networking, Linux/Windows systems, virtualization platforms,firewalls, routers, switches, SAN infrastructure, hardware, and ITsupport.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in clientenvironments, handling infrastructure deployments, resolvingtechnical issues, and ensuring high availability and performance ofIT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure

Design, configure, deploy, andmaintain enterprise network infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with Cisco,Fortinet, and other routers, switches, and network security devices.

Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, NAT, DHCP, DNS, andbasic network security.

Understand and prepare networktopology and infrastructure diagrams.

Perform network troubleshooting,performance analysis, and issue resolution.

Experience with SANswitches and storage/network connectivity.

Implement and maintain networkinfrastructure at our and client locations.

Coordinate with vendors and clients for network deployment,troubleshooting, and support.

Firewall & Security

Hands-on experience withdeployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Fortinetfirewalls.

Working knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco and other firewall/security solutions.

Configure security policies, NAT,VPN, access controls, and related firewall services.

Monitor security and network events and troubleshootconnectivity/security issues.

Hands-on experience with Linuxserver installation, configuration, administration, andtroubleshooting.

Troubleshoot Linux OS, services,networking, storage, permissions, logs, and performance-relatedissues.

Working knowledge of Windowsand basic system administration.

Experience with system deployment,patching, backup, and maintenance activities.

Good understanding of server hardware and associatedcomponents.

Hands-on experience with VMwarevirtualization technologies.

Experience with Proxmox VE for virtualization and virtual machine management.

Deployment, configuration,migration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of virtual machines.

Understanding of virtual networking, storage, resourceallocation, and high availability concepts.

IT Infrastructure & Support

Provide L1/L2/L3 technicalsupport for network and system infrastructure, as required.

Troubleshoot desktops, laptops,servers, networking equipment, printers, and other IT hardware.

Knowledge of server,desktop, laptop, storage, and networking hardware.

Install, configure, maintain, andtroubleshoot IT infrastructure at client locations.

Maintain proper documentation ofinfrastructure, configurations, incidents, and changes.

Participate in infrastructure deployment, upgrades,migration, and maintenance activities.

Monitoring & Maintenance

Experience with networkand server monitoring tools/software.

Monitor availability, performance,CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, and network devices.

Proactively identify and resolveinfrastructure issues before they impact clients.

Generate and maintain monitoringreports and infrastructure health reports.

Perform regular preventive maintenance and health checks.

Certification

CCNA certification isrequired.

Additional certifications in Fortinet, VMware, Linux,or other relevant technologies will be an advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of relevantexperience in Network/System Administration or ITInfrastructure.

Candidates with hands-on experience in clientinfrastructure deployment and support will be preferred.

Strong troubleshooting andproblem-solving skills.

Good communication andclient-handling skills.

Ability to work independently andas part of an infrastructure team.

Willingness to travel to clientsites when required.

Ability to work under pressure andhandle critical infrastructure issues.

Good documentation and reportingskills.
