Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to oversee and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, disaster recovery, business continuity, backup management, network services, and IT governance functions.

This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency of enterprise IT systems while driving compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology partners, and internal teams to maintain a secure and resilient IT environment that supports organizational growth and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management & Operations

• Manage enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and data center operations.
• Administer and support Nutanix virtualization environments to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Oversee infrastructure lifecycle management, including upgrades, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization.
• Ensure proactive monitoring and maintenance of critical IT systems to minimize downtime and operational risks.
• Drive infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Backup, Recovery & Data Protection

• Manage enterprise backup solutions, including Veeam Immutable Backups and LTO8 tape backup environments.
• Ensure successful backup execution, validation, restoration testing, and archival compliance.
• Establish and monitor backup policies, retention schedules, and data protection standards.
• Continuously improve backup and recovery processes to meet evolving business requirements.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Develop, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
• Conduct periodic DR drills, restoration testing, and failover exercises.
• Define, monitor, and achieve Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) for critical systems.
• Ensure organizational readiness to respond effectively to infrastructure disruptions and cyber incidents.

Network & Cybersecurity Management

• Manage enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networks, and internet connectivity.
• Administer and monitor security solutions, including firewalls, Trend Micro Antivirus, and SentinelOne endpoint/server security platforms.
• Implement cybersecurity policies, access controls, endpoint protection, patch management, and security monitoring programs.
• Lead Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities and drive remediation efforts.
• Monitor security incidents, investigate threats, and coordinate response and recovery activities.
• Continuously strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture through risk assessments and security enhancement initiatives.
• Lead IT General Controls (ITGC) audits, compliance reviews, and IT risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Drive risk management initiatives to improve governance and operational resilience.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, OEMs, service providers, and implementation partners.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service‑level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and support teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Drive process optimization, automation, and cost‑efficiency initiatives.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare and present infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational MIS reports.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on IT performance, risks, projects, and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT services with organizational objectives.
• Support strategic technology planning and infrastructure roadmap development.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Applications, or Business Administration is preferred.

Experience

• 12–15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity Operations, Data Center Management, and IT Governance.
• Proven experience managing enterprise‑scale infrastructure and cybersecurity environments.
• Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or corporate IT environments is preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure and data center management.
• Hands‑on experience with Nutanix virtualization platforms.
• Experience managing Veeam Immutable Backup solutions and LTO8 backup environments.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with Trend Micro Antivirus, SentinelOne, endpoint security, and cybersecurity monitoring tools.
• Expertise in Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and backup management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, VAPT, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation.
• Experience handling ITGC audits, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and IT service management practices.
• Proficiency in technical documentation, MIS reporting, and executive presentations.
