Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an IT Category Management Support and Strategic Sourcing professional with 4–6 years of procurement experience to execute sourcing projects, support supplier selection, and manage end-to-end RFx processes.

IT sourcing (software and services), indirect sourcing, RFx management, contract negotiation, vendor performance management, spend analysis and S2P, with Ivalua or SAP in a global Europe/US supplier base.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of Procurement and Category Management/Strategic Sourcing Experience.
• Min 3 years experience of IT Sourcing (software and services).
• Experience sourcing for global requirements (Europe & US).
• Hands on Indirect Sourcing experience.
• Functional exposure to various P2P System.
• Hands on RFx management, spot buy, sourcing support, catalog management, contract negotiation and administration, vendor performance management.

Responsibilities

UK 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Summer/BST) = India 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM

UK 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Winter/GMT) = India 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Role & responsibilities

• * Execute and support sourcing projects

Preferred candidate profile

• * Hands on Indirect Sourcing experience
• * Functional exposure to various P2P System
• * Should have hands on experience in managing various Tactical Procurement activities viz. RFx management, spot buy, sourcing support, catalog management, contract negotiation and administration, vendor performance management etc.
• * Spend analysis and end to end S2P expertise
