Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software or IT projects.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong skills in requirement gathering, business process analysis, documentation, project coordination, and client communication. The candidate will work closely with clients, project managers, developers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into clear and implementable functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and workshops to gather, analyse, and validate business requirements.
• Understand business processes and translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, and system workflows.
• Coordinate with development, UI/UX, QA, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning, task tracking, milestone monitoring, risk identification, and timely delivery.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs and clarification sessions for internal teams.Manage requirement changes and maintain documentation version control and traceability.
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, client presentations, proposals, and progress reports.
• Participate in UAT planning, test-case review, defect discussions, and client sign-off activities.
• Maintain meeting minutes, action items, decision logs, and requirement traceability matrices.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with user training, implementation, go-live, and post-deployment support.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software or IT projects.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience preparing BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, process flows, and use cases.
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Confident in conducting client meetings, demonstrations, and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, databases, UI/UX, and software testing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with government, enterprise, ERP, CRM, portal, or mobile application projects will be an advantage.
