Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Legal & Integrity IS initiatives in Bengaluru. You will define delivery strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and manage global information systems projects that support ABB’s Legal and Integrity function worldwide.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, architects, and service teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while aligning with ABB governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering complex Information Systems projects in an international environment.
• Establishing skills in Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, and Business Analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and project portfolio management practices.
• Experience with third-party suppliers, implementation partners, and software vendors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to interact with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of global Information Systems projects within the Legal & Integrity portfolio.
• Define project documents with stakeholders: scope, business case, schedules, budgets, governance, risk plans.
• Manage multiple initiatives: implementations, enhancements, vendor transitions, data migrations, compliance, digital transformation.
• Support RFPs, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and implementation activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including vendors, architects, developers, and analysts.
• Monitor project financials: budgets, forecasts, invoices, cost tracking.
• Manage risks, dependencies, issues, and escalations; drive resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, architecture, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare executive reporting and steering materials per ABB gate model.
• Collaborate with Service Owners to transition projects into operations.

IS Senior Service Owner, Legal&Integrity

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define project planning strategies, select and implement appropriate project delivery methodologies, and lead the successful execution of global Legal & Integrity Information Systems initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, architects, business analysts, and service teams to deliver solutions that support ABB's Legal and Integrity function worldwide.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Core IS Function - IS Legal & Integrity and delivers services to Corporate Legal & Integrity colleagues globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of global Information Systems projects within the Legal & Integrity portfolio.
• Defining all project documents jointly with stakeholders, including scope, business case, schedules, budgets, resource plans, governance, communication, and risk management plans.
• Managing multiple concurrent initiatives, including application implementations, system enhancements, vendor transitions, data migrations, compliance initiatives, and digital transformation projects.
• Supporting RFP, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and implementation activities for Legal and Integrity applications.
• Coordinating cross-functional project teams consisting of business stakeholders, external vendors, architects, developers, support teams, and business analysts.
• Monitoring project financials, including budgets, forecasts, invoices, and cost tracking.
• Managing project risks, dependencies, issues, and escalations while driving timely resolutions.
• Ensuring project delivery complies with ABB governance, security, architecture, and compliance requirements.
• Preparing executive-level project reporting and steering committee materials according to ABB gate model.
• Collaborating with Service Owners and Operations Managers to ensure smooth transition from project delivery into operational support.

Qualifications For The Role

• You have 5+ years of experience delivering complex Information Systems projects in an international environment.
• You have established skills in Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, and Business Analysis.
• You are highly adept in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and project portfolio management practices.
• You have experience managing third-party suppliers, implementation partners, and software vendors.
• You are passionate about collaboration, problem solving, and building trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders.
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
• You are at ease communicating in English, both written and spoken.
• You have excellent presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
