About the Role

This position sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company, as we enter a new chapter with SoftBank Group’s acquisition of ABB Robotics. You will shape the digital backbone of our HR & HSE domains, designing robust, scalable, and compliant software architecture, influencing enterprise-wide solutions and collaborating with global teams.

The work model is hybrid. The position is global; preferred locations include Czech Republic, India, Poland, Spain, and Sweden.

Your Responsibilities

• Co-create and own the target architecture for HR and HSE domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business needs.
• Define and approve IS solutions for production environments, guaranteeing quality, safety, and compliance.
• Lead requirement engineering and validate incoming business demand in collaboration with service owners and enterprise architects.
• Act as the escalation point for architecture-related issues and ensure seamless integration across IS modules.
• Provide guidance to delivery teams and project managers on solution standards and architectural best practices.
• Support project setup, service optimization, installation, and change management of IS solutions.
• Engage stakeholders to improve processes and add value.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, participate in communities of practice, and help shape strategic IS policies and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Application Management, Business Analysis, or Solution & Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven expertise in cloud and on‑prem architecture, integrations, and large‑scale system design.
• Familiarity with platforms in HR and HSE domains.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
