Job summary

Outworx Solutions is seeking an experienced security engineer to protect and validate IP networks, cloud, and enterprise platforms. You will conduct vulnerability baselines and targeted penetration testing across Jio infrastructure and on-prem/off‑premise environments.

Responsibilities include reviewing security configurations, assisting in cloud security tool implementation, and maintaining rigorous audit documentation.

Qualifications

• 7 years hands-on IP network security experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, ISIS).
• Experience with firewalls and NIDS/IPS/HIDS.
• Exposure to security controls for 4G/5G, FTTH, Wi‑Fi, and related access networks.
• Familiarity with CVE processes, vulnerability assessment and pentesting tools.
• Understanding of IPv4/IPv6 security concepts and hardening practices.
• Experience with system hardening and patch management.
• Security auditing across open-source platforms, Docker and Kubernetes.

Job description

• Working and implementing security gearshifts for IP networks, applications, and enterprise platforms.
• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Baseline Assessment on Jio infrastructure under defined hardening guidelines.
• Execute internal and external penetration testing activities as per approved scope and methodology by using nmap, Metasploit and burp suite
• Support review of cloud, on-prem, and IP network security configurations.
• Assist in implementation and validation of cloud security controls and tools.
• Support OS and application security controls across Linux, Windows, Debian, Ubuntu, and web applications.
• Create and update system hardening documents and assist in building audit artefacts for automated testing.
• Support zero-day vulnerability remediation by assisting CFT teams with implementation guidance.
• Maintain documentation related to security assessments, findings, and remediation tracking.

• 7 years of hands-on experience in IP network security implementation (routing and switching).
• Understanding of routing protocols like BGP, ISIS, dynamic routing and switching
• Working knowledge of firewalls, NIDS/IPS/HIDS, including deployment and basic tuning.
• Exposure to security controls in access networks such as 4g/ 5g, FTTH, Wi-Fi, UBR, and Access Points.
• Basic understanding of security protocols including RADIUS, TACACS, SSL and TLS.
• Good understanding of CVE, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
• Fundamental knowledge of IPv4 / IPv6 network security concepts and best practices.
• Understanding of system hardening and patch management aligned with firm-defined security policies.
• Exposure to security auditing across operating systems, open-source platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and containers.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in fast-paced telco and cloud environments.
