Job summary

Intel in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced IP verification engineer to perform functional verification of IP logic, develop verification plans, and build test benches to ensure designs meet specifications.

The role requires strong SystemVerilog/UVM, Perl or Python coding, and AMBA protocols knowledge; you will collaborate with RTL and physical design teams and operate within a hybrid work model in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years with a Bachelor's, 4+ years with a Master's, or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Strong coding skills in Perl or Python.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM/OVM methodology.
• Hands-on experience with AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Proven ability to design and implement verification test environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional verification of IP logic to ensure designs meet specification requirements.

• Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment and implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
• Document test plans and spearhead technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
• Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies.
• Participate in defining verification infrastructure and related TFMs needed for functional design verification.

• Experience bringing up coherent protocols from inception to implementation.
• Knowledge of Network-on-Chip verification methodologies.
• Familiarity with formal verification techniques.
• Exposure to power-aware verification and knowledge of PCIe protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams.
