Job summary

Intellicredence in Jaipur is seeking an IoT QA Engineer to ensure the quality of IoT devices, firmware, applications, and backend systems through manual and functional testing.

You will design and execute test cases, validate MQTT/HTTP/CoAP protocols, perform API testing with Postman, backend validation with SQL, and track defects using Jira/Bugzilla/TestRail in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of IoT/Firmware Testing experience.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Backend and SQL validation experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC and Agile.
• Experience with JIRA/TestRail/Bugzilla.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Test IoT devices, firmware, and hardware-software integration.
• Validate device connectivity, data synchronization, OTA updates, and real-time data transmission.
• Test IoT protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and CoAP.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, System, and UAT testing.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and RTM.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate JSON/XML responses.
• Perform backend and database validation using SQL.
• Log and track defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
• Work closely with development, firmware, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test IoT devices, firmware, and hardware-software integration.
• Validate device connectivity, data synchronization, OTA updates, and real-time data transmission.
• Test IoT protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and CoAP.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, System, and UAT testing.
