Job summary

Job description

About the internship:

1. Engage with incoming buy-side leads via email, calls, and the internal CRM to understand their investment intent, sector preferences, and financial capability.
2. Conduct basic background checks on buyers by assessing profile credibility, past transactions, and digital footprints, and flag any potential red flags.
3. Maintain accurate records of buyer interactions, notes, and status updates in the internal system.
4. Verify and validate data generated through AI tools, ensuring its accuracy, relevance, and completeness before internal use.
5. Research industries, sectors, and sub-sectors, including market size, growth trends, and key drivers.
6. Build competitive landscape snapshots covering key players, business models, and market positioning.
7. Assist in preparing internal reports, teasers, and insight notes for M&A and fundraising discussions.
8. Coordinate with senior team members to improve data quality, buyer qualification, and overall process efficiency.
