Job summary

Trade Brains is seeking a highly motivated equity research analyst intern with a strong interest in equity research and financial markets.

You will analyze companies, develop investment insights, and contribute to research-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, commerce, economics, or related discipline.
• NISM Series XV certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of stock markets and financial markets.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis and interpretation.
• Understanding of valuation methodologies and key financial ratios.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interest in equity research and investment analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in evaluating a company's financial health, profitability, operational performance, and growth potential.
• Conduct industry and sector research to assess market dynamics, competitive landscapes, emerging trends, and associated risks.
• Gather, organize, and analyze financial and market-related data to support investment research and decision-making.
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports, investment recommendations, valuation models, and investment theses.
• Monitor quarterly earnings, corporate announcements, regulatory developments, and industry-specific news relevant to assigned companies and sectors.
• Support the research team in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities.

About the internship:

The role offers an opportunity to work closely with the research team, analyze companies and industries, and contribute to the development of investment insights and research-driven recommendations.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• 1. Support the analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• 2. Assist in evaluating a company's financial health, profitability, operational performance, and growth potential.
• 3. Conduct industry and sector research to assess market dynamics, competitive landscapes, emerging trends, and associated risks.
• 4. Gather, organize, and analyze financial and market-related data to support investment research and decision-making.
• 5. Contribute to the preparation of research reports, investment recommendations, valuation models, and investment theses.

Requirements/Qualifications:
