Kapsons is seeking an Inventory Analyst based in Chandigarh to manage stock flow across warehouses, transit, and retail stores. The role focuses on monitoring stock movement, reducing shrinkage, and improving inventory processes.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of inventory experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as LOGIC, SAP, Oracle, or Tally. On-site work in Chandigarh with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of core inventory handling experience, preferably in retail.
• Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis).
• Experience with ERP systems such as LOGIC, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movement between warehouses, transit, and retail stores.
• Analyze inventory workflows and identify bottlenecks or process gaps.
• Review weekly and monthly inventory reports to identify slow-moving, aging, and discrepant stock.
• Reconcile physical stock receipts with supplier invoice bookings to ensure billing accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to investigate stock variances.
• Identify inventory trends, data anomalies, and mathematical mismatches.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing inventory shrinkage.

The role involves monitoring stock movement, analyzing inventory performance, validating invoice bookings, investigating stock discrepancies, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory processes and reduce shrinkage.
