Job summary

Movate Technologies in Chennai, India seeks an Intune Support Engineer to act as the first line of technical support for Microsoft Intune and MDM/MAM. The role focuses on daily user support, device enrollment, and basic policy issue troubleshooting across Windows, iOS, and Android.

You will handle device management tasks, app deployment monitoring, and ticketing, while coordinating with Level 2/3 teams for escalations and ensuring correct Entra ID policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Intune, MDM/MAM concepts, and device enrollment profiles.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, iOS, Android configurations and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID (users, groups, licensing).

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 Intune support and end-user troubleshooting.
• Assist with device enrollment, provisioning, and lifecycle management (Windows, iOS, Android).
• Monitor deployment of standard corporate apps and updates to endpoints.
• Log, track, and escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 engineering teams when needed.

Job Description:

The Level 1 Intune Support Engineer acts as the first line of technical support for Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM/MAM). This role focuses on daily user support, device enrollment, troubleshooting basic policy issues, and managing standard device lifecycles across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• User Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve basic user issues regarding Microsoft Intune enrollment, device compliance, and corporate resource access.
• Device Management: Assist with enrolling, renaming, wiping, and retiring corporate and BYOD devices (Windows, iOS, iPadOS, Android).
• App Deployment: Monitor and troubleshoot the deployment of standard corporate applications and software updates to endpoints.
• Ticket Management: Log, track, and elevate complex mobile device and endpoint management issues to Level 2/3 engineering teams.
• Access Management: Validate user group assignments in Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) to ensure proper policy deployment.

Technical Qualifications

• Foundational MDM Knowledge: Basic understanding of Microsoft Intune, MDM/MAM concepts, and device enrollment profiles.
• Operating Systems: Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting Windows 10/11, iOS, and Android operating systems.
• Identity & Access: Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID (users, groups, and basic licensing).
• Ticketing Tools: Experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
