Job summary

Gujarat Tea Processors and Packers Limited in Ahmedabad, India, is seeking an International Business Development Manager to drive expansion of premium and specialty teas abroad. You will coordinate market research, sourcing, and regulatory compliance to enable listings in new territories.

Role involves identifying buyers, negotiating terms, and coordinating exhibitional participation with a focus on long-term growth in global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent required.
• Background in business/marketing desirable.
• Strong communication and liaison skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Explore scope of introducing premium & specialty teas in respective markets.
• Source foreign buyers/importers for supply to markets.
• Identify leading supermarkets/hypermarkets and understand listing processes and terms.
• Study country labeling regulations and packaging requirements for new products.
• Research import duties and customs processes for FMCG products.
• Plan ATL/BTL activities including media and digital campaigns.
• Identify relevant food exhibitions and trade events.
• Coordinate with trade organizations for information and sales leads.
• Provide timely weekly project updates.

Responsibilities

• To Explore scope of introducing our premium & specialty teas in their respective countries.
• Sourcing Foreign Buyers/Importers for the supply to Ethnic and Mainstream markets.
• To Explore list of leading Supermarkets/Hypermarkets and to understand their listing process & commercial terms.
• To study country-wise labeling regulations & statutory requirements on packaging and also provide suggestions for new product development.
• To study Import Duty Structure, Custom Clearance Process & other Local Regulations for FMCG products.
• To obtain details of ATL & BTL activities needed for respective markets, including Electronic & Print Media Planning, Digital & Social Media, Wet
• To explore list of various potential Food related Exhibitions
• Coordination with various Trade Organizations in India & Abroad for getting various sales & marketing related information.
• Any other work to be given by the management from time to time.
