Job summary

Destiny Finco is seeking an experienced auditor to lead end-to-end audit engagements from planning to remediation. The role focuses on evaluating financial statements, processes, and controls to strengthen governance.

You'll coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and to drive actionable improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Execution: Design and execute full audit engagements, risk assessments, and internal control evaluations.
• Financial & Process Review: Examine financial statements, ledger entries, accounting records, and operational workflows for accuracy and waste.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure company operations adhere to local laws, industry regulations, and internal corporate policies.
• Fraud Investigation: Detect discrepancies and investigate potentially fraudulent activities or material misconduct.
• Reporting & Recommendations: Prepare clear audit reports and present findings, risk-mitigation strategies, and cost-saving ideas to senior management or the board.
• Follow-Up & Remediation: Monitor whether management properly implements recommended fixes through follow-up audits.
• External Audit Support: Collaborate with external or statutory auditors during annual reviews and compliance checks.
