Job summary

Mahima Group is seeking an Internal Auditor to plan and conduct risk-based audits across Sales, Marketing, CRM, Projects/Construction, Procurement, Finance & Accounts, and more. The role reports directly to the Director and will identify control gaps, financial leakages, and process deviations, recommending improvements.

Ideal candidates hold CA with 4-8 years of internal audit experience in real estate or infrastructure, with strong Excel and ERP familiarity, and willingness to travel to Jaipur

Qualifications

• CA with 4-8 years in internal audit, preferably in real estate, construction, or infra.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, RERA, and internal control frameworks.
• Site audits, contractor bill verification, and inventory audits experience.
• MS Excel proficiency; working knowledge of ERP (SAP/FarVision preferred).
• Willing to travel to project sites around Jaipur.

Role & responsibilities

The Internal Auditor will plan and conduct risk-based audits across all departments, including Sales, Marketing, CRM, Projects/Construction, Procurement, Finance & Accounts, etc. The role reports directly to the Director and will identify control gaps, financial leakages, and process deviations, and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning & Execution

• Prepare the department wise internal audit plan based on risk assessment and get it approved by the Director.
• Conduct periodic audits across all departments and project sites
• Develop audit checklists and SOPs for each function

Compliance & Controls

• Check adherence to RERA (Rajasthan) requirements, including project account fund usage and documentation
• Review compliance with company policies, delegation of authority, and approval matrices
• Detect and report fraud risks, irregularities, and policy violations

Reporting & Follow-up

• Prepare clear audit reports with observations, risk rating, root cause, and recommendations
• Present findings to the Director and discuss action plans with department heads
• Track closure of audit observations and conduct follow-up audits
• Coordinate with statutory auditors and support external audits

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: CA
• 4-8 years in internal audit, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure
• Sound knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, RERA, and internal control frameworks
• Hands-on experience with site audits, contractor bill verification, and inventory audits
• Proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of Tally/ERP (SAP/Farvision preferred)
• High integrity, independence, and the ability to handle confidential information
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
• Willing to travel to project sites in and around Jaipur
