NES Fircroft is recruiting an Internal Auditor in Bengaluru, India to join the Internal Audit & Assurance team. The role offers exposure to global operations, governance frameworks, and risk management within a leading workforce solutions organisation.

You will execute audit reviews, assess controls, plan audits, and report findings while coordinating with stakeholders across functions and geographies. A commitment to integrity and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 months of progressive experience within Internal Audit, Assurance, Risk or related functions.
• Currently studying towards or pursuing CIA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent.

Join NES Fircroft as an Internal Auditor within our Internal Audit & Assurance team based in Bengaluru, India. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager in Bengaluru and supporting the wider Internal Audit & Assurance function based in Manchester, UK, you will play a key role in delivering assurance activities that enhance business performance, strengthen controls, and support effective risk management across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Internal Audit Delivery: Execute internal audit reviews, testing programmes, and monitoring activities aligned to the annual internal audit plan.
• Risk & Control Assessment: Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement across processes, systems, and governance frameworks.
• Audit Planning: Prepare risk-based audit plans that align with business objectives, audit scope, and organisational priorities.
• Audit Reporting: Document audit evidence, findings, observations, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders and colleagues across multiple functions to discuss audit outcomes and support continuous improvement.
• Action Tracking: Monitor agreed management actions and audit findings through to closure, ensuring timely implementation of corrective measures.
• Risk Management Support: Provide guidance and insight on risk management, compliance and control-related matters across the organisation.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, strengthen governance, and improve control environments.
• Special Projects & Investigations: Support assurance reviews, investigations, and other projects as assigned by the Internal Audit leadership team.
• Professional Ownership: Take responsibility for assigned audit activities, delivering high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Audit Experience: Minimum 12 months of progressive experience within Internal Audit, Assurance, Risk, Compliance, or related functions.
• Professional Qualifications: Currently studying towards or actively pursuing a recognised qualification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Big Four Exposure: Previous experience within a Big Four professional services environment is advantageous.
• Audit Methodology Knowledge: Understanding of internal audit practices, risk management principles, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and sound professional judgement.
• Communication Skills: Ability to present findings, recommendations, and audit outcomes clearly and confidently to stakeholders.
• Relationship Building: Comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams and geographies.
• Technical Capability: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with familiarity in audit management tools and data analytics solutions considered beneficial.
• Professional Integrity: Demonstrates strong ethics, objectivity, confidentiality, and commitment to high professional standards.
