Job summary

CSA Group in Bengaluru, India, is offering a full-time student (fixed term) internship focused on assisting testing assignments in electronics/electrical engineering. You will set up and operate test equipment, run routine tests, document results, and assist with calculations under guidance from senior staff.

The role targets final-year students or graduates in electronics or related fields who can commit to in-office work and have interest in standards and certification processes.

Qualifications

• Final year degree / diploma engineering students or completed Bachelor’s degree / diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Only candidates available for full time (in-office) internship can apply.
• Knowledge of standards, government policy, and electronics / electrical sector landscape would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sets-up and operates all test equipment and performs tests within a certain product area;
• Performs the tests in accordance with work orders issued by jobholders; conducts routine tests; acts as an assistant in complex or unusual tests, under guidance from senior staff or job holder
• Records technical data, and drafts test result reports.
• Performs mathematical calculations required to summarize test results
• Assembles and disassembles test samples, hooks-up laboratory test equipment in preparation for testing; operates most laboratory test equipment.
