Job summary

Valeo India Private Limited invites applications for an internship in its Research & Development team, focusing on thermal simulation. You will develop and validate thermal models for automotive components using ANSYS/Star-CCM+ and perform simulations to predict temperature distributions and stresses.

Collaboration with design and testing teams will be essential as you help optimize thermal performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of heat transfer principles and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with CFD and FEA concepts.
• Basic experience with thermal simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent/Icepack, Star-CCM+, COMSOL) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications

• Solid understanding of heat transfer principles (conduction, convection, radiation) and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) concepts.
• Basic experience with thermal simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent/Icepack, Star-CCM+, COMSOL) is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
