Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Basic proficiency in a major CAD software package (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Understanding of fundamental mechanical design principles and drafting standards.

Job Summary

VALEO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD Intern to support our engineering team in the development and modification of designs. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic automotive environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers and designers in creating and modifying CAD models and drawings using industry-standard software.
• Perform basic design tasks, including component layout, assembly creation, and detailing.
• Review existing CAD data for accuracy and completeness, making necessary revisions.
• Contribute to the documentation of design changes and engineering specifications.
• Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to design discussions.
• Support the creation of prototypes and test fixtures as needed.
• Learn and apply company CAD standards and best practices.

Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in a major CAD software package (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Understanding of fundamental mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience with automotive components or systems is a plus but not required.
