Job summary

ShareChat (Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd) is seeking a Product Analyst-Intern to join its growing product team in Bengaluru. You will learn to build consumer products that impact millions of users, with autonomy to own a product in the near future.

You will query databases using SQL on Redshift, write scripts, analyze user behavior data, and help identify trends. Stipend INR 50,000. Exceptional performance may lead to a permanent seat on our team.

Qualifications

• BS in Mathematics, Economics, CS, or Statistics is preferred.
• Prior analytics internship is a plus.
• Knowledge of data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Experience with statistics and analytical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS).

Responsibilities

• Query the Database using SQL on ShareChat's analytical engine built on Redshift.
• Write scalable scripts to fetch or modify data from API endpoints.
• Analyze large datasets related to user behavior to derive conclusions.
• Identify trends and patterns to inform product decisions.
• Maintain high accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

We are looking for a Product Analyst-Intern to join our growing product team at ShareChat. What you will do:

• Querying the Database: Using SQL to run queries on ShareChat's analytical engine built on Redshift.
• Scripting: Writing scalable scripts to fetch or modify data from API endpoints.
• Analytical Skills: You will work with large amounts of data related to user behaviour on ShareChat. You willl need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
• Critical Thinking: You may need to look for trend and patterns in data to come up with new conclusions based on the findings.
• Attention to Detail: Data is precise. You have to make sure you are vigilant in your analysis to come to correct conclusions

Who you are:

• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics is preferred.
• Prior working experience as an analytics Intern is a plus.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
