SmartQ is hiring an Intern - Operations in Bengaluru to help manage day-to-day operations and optimize processes that drive efficiency and quality. You will promote the SmartQ Ordering App, train users to leverage digital payments, and support cross-functional teams in executing operational strategies.

We value strong hotel management foundations, proactive problem solving, clear communication, and accountability.

• Strong foundation in Hotel Management / Diploma in HM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and take initiative.

Responsabilités

• Promote the SmartQ digital platform and Ordering App to users.
• Guide users to download and use the App; assist those without the App in placing orders.
• Contribute to developing operational strategies and optimize workflows.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with client locations for on-site kitchen visits when required.

As an Intern - Operations at SmartQ, your primary goal will be to take responsibility for managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with the overall strategic goals of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the use of the SmartQ digital platform by explaining the benefits and convenience of the SmartQ Ordering App, including available offers.
• Encourage users to download and use the App by providing guidance and training. Assist individuals without the App in placing orders and making payments through digital wallets
• Contribute to the development of operational strategies aligned with overall organizational goals.
• Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Implement and monitor streamlined workflows and standardized procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges
• Identify potential risks to operations and implement mitigation strategies
• Willingness to commute to client location, and carry out kitchen visits; owning two- wheeler will be an added advantage
• Contribute ideas to improve reporting formats, data accuracy, and overall process efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Hotel Management/ Diploma in HM with a keen interest in applying skills in a professional setting.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability, with the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
• Demonstrates strong accountability and flexibility in taking ownership of responsibilities and adapting to changing needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a result-oriented mindset, and high accountability, making them a dependable team contributor.
