Job summary

SmartQ in Bengaluru is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to collaborate with senior designers on diverse projects and contribute during brainstorming sessions. You should have a passion for art, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

You’ll design posters, brochures and manuals, research design trends, and participate in branding and digital assets development while learning top industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven portfolio of graphic design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Basic knowledge of design principles and tools is a plus.
• Strong creative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Creativity and passion for visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers on various projects.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

Are you excited to join our team as Intern - Graphic Design?

As a Graphic Design Intern your primary goal will be to collaborate with senior designers on various projects and contribute during brainstorming discussions. In addition, you should possess a passion for art in general, conduct research on design trends, user experiences, and top industry practices.

• Gather and evaluate Product requirements in collaboration from the internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design posters, brochures, and manuals for the company Internal
• Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables) using Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator / Canva
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images or brand guidelines.
• Continuously improve the existing designs bringing the best possible output

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven portfolio of Graphic designing
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Strong creative and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Creativity and a passion for visual storytelling.
