Job summary

Kerala Startup Mission seeks an enthusiastic intern to contribute to Fablab Kerala in electronics design, development and embedded programming. You will join a team, learn actively, and participate in diverse electronics projects at the Fablab.

The role involves working from the office, supporting PCB design, testing and manufacturing activities, and collaborating with clients. Stipend is ₹15,000 per month for 6 months, extendable up to 1 year, for diploma or engineering graduates under 28.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering required (final-year students may apply).
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics and embedded programming is needed.
• Experience with ECAD tools such as KiCAD, Fusion 360 or Altium is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electronics projects for Fablab Kerala.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of electronics testing and manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with team and clients, communicating effectively.
• Propose improvements for processes and technologies in the electronics workspace.

Position Overview

KSUM is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern with a strong interest in electronics design, development, and embedded programming to contribute to Fablab Kerala. The candidate should be a team player with a strong learning aptitude and be interested in volunteering in various electronics projects. The intern will play a key role in developing electronic products and participating in innovative projects at Fablab Kerala

Area of Exposure

• Support the design and development of electronics projects undertaken by Fablab Kerala.
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of electronics testing and manufacturing machines and equipment in the Fablab.
• Collaborate and communicate within the team and with clients.
• Propose and implement improvement solutions for processes and technologies within the electronics workspace.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience in these domains. (Final-year students can also apply, provided they are available to work from the office throughout the internship period)
• Knowledge in analog and digital electronics, embedded programming, and ECAD software (e.g., KiCAD, Fusion 360, Altium, etc.).
• Knowledge in PCB design and fabrication is preferred.
• Adequate communication and collaboration skills.

Stipend :Rs 15,000 per month
