Job summary

Kerala Startup Mission in Kochi invites an Electrical Intern with site experience to assist in planning, design, estimation and execution of electrical systems for infrastructure projects.

You will work with architects, consultants and contractors to ensure integration of electrical designs, monitor installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance, and help prepare estimates, tenders and technical documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
• Knowledge in electrical design tools and drafting softwares.
• Knowledge of IS codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient systems, renewable integration and sustainable electrical design.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Good communication and documentation skill.

Responsibilities

• Designing and reviewing electrical layouts.
• Support site supervision to ensure proper execution of electrical works as per approved drawings, standards, WO's.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants and contractors to ensure integration of electrical systems with overall project design.
• Monitor installation, testing, commissioning & maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution and energy-efficient solutions.
• Assist with preparing estimates, tender & technical documentation, reports and drawing.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Intern with prior site experience to support the planning, design, estimation and execution of electrical systems for existing/upcoming Infrastructure projects under KSUM.

Area of Exposure

• Will get an oportunity in designing and reviewing electrical layouts
• Support site supervision to ensure proper execution of electrical works as per approved drawings, standards, WO's.
• Will get an opportunity to work with architects, consultants and contractors to ensure integration of electrical systems with overall project design.
• Help with monitoring installation, testing,commissioning & maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution and energy-efficient solutions.
