Responsibilities

  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Collaborate on the design and implementation of fundraising strategies, manage campaign timelines and activity logs, and conduct thorough research to identify new community groups, running clubs, cycling associations, and corporate partners to expand the organization's reach.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Proactively contact potential participants, athletes, and community organizations to drive registrations and onboarding. Maintain consistent communication via phone, messaging platforms, and email to foster a vibrant, supportive community around CanKids' events.
  • Fundraising Facilitation: Guide participants in launching and promoting their personal fundraising pages, monitor donation milestones, and manage databases to ensure timely follow-ups on commitments and donor acknowledgments.
  • Event Logistics and Coordination: Assist with pre-event preparations such as managing registrations, preparing participant kits, and handling logistics. Serve as a liaison for volunteers, vendors, and partners, and provide essential on-ground support during major events to manage registration desks, branding, and participant interactions.
  • Content and Communications: Develop engaging content for various channels, including WhatsApp broadcasts, email newsletters, and social media posts. Gather compelling stories, photos, and testimonials to enhance campaign materials and support the creation of reports and presentations.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of participants, donors, and outreach efforts in spreadsheets. Track key performance indicators such as call volumes, registration numbers, and fundraising progress to generate concise weekly and monthly performance reports.

Catering to childhood cancer patients from primarily underprivileged families, CanKids is present in 141 hospitals across India. Through our signature programYANA (You Are Not Alone)– CanKids provides medical, drugs & diagnostics support, accommodation through Home Away from Homes, , patient transport, blood support, nutrition & rations, education and counselling support.

Summary

CanKids is seeking two dynamic and motivated Campaign Interns to play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and successful execution of high-impact fundraising and awareness initiatives.
