Job summary

The AEC Associates seeks architects with 3–5 years of experience to lead production of construction documents and contribute to QA/QC on international projects. Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills are required, with a background in architectural/interior design and engineering document development.

You will collaborate with senior architects and engineers, ensure adherence to SOPs, manage tasks, and deliver accurate drawings across design phases including as-builts and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in architectural/interior design/engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Drawing production across design and construction phases including as-Builts, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation.
• Report hours spent on tasks using prescribed tools.
• Quality Assurance and adherence to SOPs and client templates.
• Perform QA/QC on architectural/interior design and construction documents.
• Collaborate with intermediate/senior architects/designers/engineers and manage tasks to ensure timely, error-free deliveries.
• Maintain knowledge of building construction systems and standards.

Job description

The AEC Associates is seeking motivated individuals to join our organization who possess strong Revit and CAD skills. Architects should have 3-5 years of experience in architectural and/or interior designing/engineering services, primarily responsible for the production of construction documents and participate in the final QA/QC process on international projects.

Essential Duties/ Role and Responsibilities

Drawing Production

• Primarily responsible for production of building project drawings during all design and construction phases including as-Builts, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation Sets and others meeting Project owner’s expectations (Internal and external).
• Provide/ Report the hours spent on the assigned project tasks using the prescribed tools and methods.
• Quality Assurance
• Able to follow company’s internal SoPs, client specific CAD/ BIM templates and implement Quality Checking of as-built drawings, architectural/ interior design and construction documents.

Team Working

• Working in conjunction with Intermediate/ Senior Intermediate Architects/ Interior Designers/ Engineers and Intermediate Architects/ Interior Designers/ Engineers as per the reporting protocols.
• Self-management of assigned tasks for efficient, error-free, and timely deliveries.
• Basic knowledge of Building Construction systems and standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Good understanding of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Architectural/ Interior Design/ Engineering design documentation background preferred with basic knowledge of general design documentation standards, practices and procedures.
• Good understanding of the architectural/ interior design/ engineering design processes both in the office and on site.
• Ability to execute a given set of processes and procedures right the first time to prevent performance, availability and productivity losses.
• Good written and spoken English is required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is preferred with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in the AEC industry with matching work experience.
• Experience in design and documentation of Architectural/ Interior Design/ Engineering projects New construction and renovation.
