Satven is seeking a CAD/Interior Design engineer with hands-on Catia V5 experience for interiors development. You will drive design from concept to final release, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support cost-aware design decisions.

Proficiency in Teamcenter and GD&T is preferred, with strong communication and multitasking skills. Immediate joining is preferred, with readiness for quick onboarding and collaboration across design reviews and digital pre-assembly processes.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Catia V5 for parts, surfaces and drawings.
• Knowledge of packaging study and master section creation.
• Experience designing interiors from concept to release within timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop CAD designs in CATIA based on engineering direction for interior commodities.
• Facilitate engineering CAD reviews using WebEx, IM, and emails.
• Apply GD&T and ensure CAD designs meet design standards and milestones.

Domain knowledge

• Hands on experience in Catia V5 (Part/surface/drawing).
• Sound knowledge in packaging study and master section creation.
• Design and development of Interior Trims from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline.
• Participating in design review meetings and provide solutions.
• Knowledge in benchmarking and cost reduction.
• Identification and resolution of design related issues during development till release.
• Knowledge of prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes of Interiors.
• Design product to cost targets.
• Knowledge in Team Center and Vismockup.
• Demonstrate good customer and cross functional relationships.
• Problem solving skills (8D / 6-sigma)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Knowledge in MS office tools.

Job Description

• Expecting immediate joining or max within 3-4 weeks
• Extensive experience on commodities development (for e.g. Interior components like IP&CNSL, Air vents, Ducts, Pillar Trims, Door Trims) new part design, on-going product development changes; digital pre-assembly.
• Extensive experience in developing CAD designs in CATIA, based on Engineering direction for commodities in above mentioned PMTs
• Facilitating Engineering review of the CAD using available collaborative tools such as Web-Ex, IM, emails etc.
• Understanding the geometric requirements within the context of the vehicle as defined by engineering requirements.
• Applying GD&T for completed designs.
• Ensuring the quality of CAD meets CAD Design standards.
• Executing as well as checking the progress of the Designs, and suggest alternatives whenever required to make sure that the deliverables are met with the appropriate quality for each milestone of the Product Development process.
