Job summary

Regalien Infrastructure is seeking a Site Manager in West Bengal to supervise interior trades, oversee finishing works, and conduct daily inspections for progress, quality, and safety.

You will lead site staff, contractors, and labourers, mentor the team, and ensure compliance with specifications and safety plans. You will coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients, manage materials and reporting, and help with scheduling and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise interior trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, electric work, civil work, false ceiling work, finishing and monitor overall finishing quality.
• Conduct site inspections daily to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Implement and enforce site rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Lead and direct site staff, contractors, subcontractors, mistris and labourers; provide guidance and training.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, plans, and quality standards; identify and resolve defects.
• Implement and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures and conduct safety orientations, training, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

Role & responsibilities

1. Site Management:

• Supervise and coordinate interior trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, electric work, civil work, false ceiling work, etc and overall finishing.
• Conduct site inspections daily to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Implement and enforce site rules, regulations, and safety protocols.

2. Team Management:

• Lead and direct site staff, contractors, subcontractors, mistris and labourers.
• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to ensure skill development.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

3. Quality Control:

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, plans, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve defects, deficiencies, or non-conformities.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and report findings.

4. Safety and Risk Management:

• Implement and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures and Conduct safety orientations, training, and toolbox talks. Also, Investigate incidents, near misses, and report to management.

5. Communication and Coordination:

• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and inventory management and Provide progress updates, reports, and documentation.

6. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

• Resolve site conflicts, disputes, or issues promptly, Address technical challenges, defects, or design inconsistencies and Collaborate with project team to find solutions.

7. Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation and Track and report labor hours, productivity, and costs.
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
