Job summary

SIGMA ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks an Interior Project Site Engineer to supervise daily interior site activities, ensure quality and finishing per drawings, and verify dimensions, levels and workmanship.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors and vendors, monitor progress, safety, site discipline, and prepare daily records and readiness for handover. Experience in interior fit-out projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily interior site activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure proper execution, workmanship, quality, dimensions, levels, and finishing standards.
• Review drawings and coordinate site measurements, setting-out, and technical requirements.
• Monitor manpower, material availability, productivity, and work progress.
• Coordinate material requirements, delivery, storage, and consumption at site.
• Take and verify site measurements for executed works and subcontractor billing.
• Identify site issues, drawing discrepancies, delays, and variations and report them to the Project Manager.
• Conduct inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects and snags.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, photographs, measurements, and inspection documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and site discipline requirements.
• Coordinate final snagging, rectification, and project handover activities.
