Job summary

GRAY MATTER in Ahmedabad seeks a site management professional to lead on-site project execution and coordinate with the PMC office team. You will ensure quality and safety compliance across all activities and drive timely delivery.

You will prepare and monitor reports, review plans and quantities, and organize site meetings with designers, contractors and clients. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential.

Job description

Your role will broadly involve (but not limited to) the following :

1)Lead team on site from Project Management perspective.

2)Regular day to day coordination with PMC office team. Liase with Projects Head for strategic inputs related to planning, quality and safety of works on site.

3)Accountable for Planning, Monitoring and Execution of works within Quality and Safety parameters.

4)Organize and conduct on-site site meetings as and when required with Design consultants, Contractors and Client and relevant stakeholders.

5)Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.

6)Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations

7)Monitoring and interpreting the contract and design documents supplied by the Architect.

8)Preparation of Weekly and Monthly reports.

9)Preparation and Monitoring of Quality Control Plan

10)Liaise with Client Team and Contractors involved in the project for day-to-day progress of works.

11)Attend and (or) Organize regular site meetings or workshops to discuss progress of works with relevant stake holders (i.e. Client, Design Team and Contractors) .

12)Review Joint Measurement records prepared by the Site engineer along with Contractor, and check and approve bill raised by the Contractor.

13)Ensure quality control and health and safety matters on site as per contract conditions, relevant codes and standards and ensure strict adherence to the same on site.

14)Quantity estimation as and when required.

15)Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and keep informed all stake holders of other problems that may arise.

16)Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
