Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Project Manager for civil/site projects in Gujarat. The role covers planning, technical support, site coordination, quality control, monitoring, safety, procurement, and client communication to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, supervise contractors, review drawings, maintain documentation, and report risks and progress to management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project schedules, timelines, and work plans.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Estimate materials, manpower, and costs.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Review engineering drawings, designs, and specifications.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Solve engineering and site-related technical issues.
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Supervise daily site activities and contractor work.
  • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
  • Coordinate between civil, mechanical, electrical, and other departments.
  • Monitor site progress and productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures and safety standards.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks.
  • Maintain documentation for quality assurance.
  • Identify and correct defects or non-conformities.
  • Track project progress against schedule and budget.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Update management on risks, delays, and project status.
  • Maintain project documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor safe work practices on site.
  • Coordinate with safety officers to prevent accidents.
  • Coordinate material procurement and delivery.
  • Verify quantities and approve material usage.
  • Manage equipment and workforce allocation.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Attend project meetings with clients and consultants.
  • Address client concerns and technical queries.
  • Provide updates and maintain professional relationships.
