Qualifications

• Prior experience in modular furniture or retail showroom design is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer - Sales & Design role based in Hyderabad. The role involves meeting customers in the showroom or at project sites, understanding their requirements, and translating their needs into functional and appealing interior concepts. The Interior Designer will prepare layout plans, mood boards, and 2D/3D drawings, select materials and finishes, and propose modular furniture solutions aligned with brand standards. Daily responsibilities include creating and presenting design proposals, coordinating with project and installation teams, and ensuring that designs are executed as planned. The role also includes supporting sales by providing design-led recommendations, explaining product features, and maintaining strong client relationships from initial contact through project completion.

Qualifications

• Ability in interior design and space planning, including developing functional layouts and aesthetic concepts.
• Knowledge of architecture fundamentals and construction drawings to coordinate designs with site conditions and execution teams.
• Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, including modular furniture, finishes, and accessories.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a sales-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, production, installation).
• Prior experience in modular furniture, residential interiors, or retail showroom design is an advantage.
