Elegant Design Studio in Pune is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to develop concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for residential and commercial spaces. Role Description

This is a full-time, Office & on-site Interior Designer role based in the Pune Division. The Interior Designer will develop concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for residential and commercial projects, including space planning, Designing and selection of materials, finishes, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). Daily responsibilities include preparing sketches, mood boards, and construction drawings; coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors; and supporting site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The role also involves meeting with clients to understand requirements, presenting design proposals, managing design revisions, and assisting in project timelines and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, visually cohesive layouts.
• Candidates should possess Architecture-related skills and understanding of building codes and design standards relevant to interiors.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and coordination with project teams.
• Candidates should possess FF&E expertise, including selection, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Strong communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented approach, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant professional experience in interior projects is preferred.
