Job summary

Theos, Hyderabad-based interior design studio, is seeking a detail-oriented Interior Designer with 2+ years of residential design experience. You will work on end-to-end interiors, from concept through execution, balancing aesthetics with practicality and cost considerations.

Join a design-first team that collaborates across Sales, 3D, and Operations, while mentoring junior designers and ensuring project standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) required.
• 2+ years of experience in residential interior design.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and hardware.
• Ability to create precise technical drawings using CAD.
• Good communication in English, with Telugu or Hindi as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboard clients and clearly explain the design journey.
• Lead site kick-off meetings with the Sales team.
• Create and share structured design timelines with milestones.
• Understand client requirements—functional and aesthetic.
• Develop customized design concepts with cost estimates.

Roles & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 2+ years of experience in residential interior design, who stays updated with industry trends and brings both creativity and practicality to the table.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Manage client onboarding and clearly explain the design journey, setting the right expectations
• Participate in site kick-off meetings along with the Sales team for seamless project handover
• Create and share structured design timelines with defined milestones
• Understand client requirements in depth — both functional and aesthetic
• Develop customized design concepts along with detailed cost estimates
• Balance design creativity with technical feasibility
• Collaborate closely with Sales, 3D, KWS, and Operations teams for smooth execution
• Guide and mentor Junior Designers, ensuring high-quality output
• Work with Project Management teams to align designs with site conditions
• Maintain accurate and updated project data in the CRM system
• Lead hiring and training of Junior Designers to build a strong team
• Ensure all designs meet Theos’ technical and design standards
• Stay updated through internal trainings and workshops
• Take ownership of accuracy in drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Proactively identify and resolve design challenges
• Uphold the quality and reputation of Theos through every project

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
• Strong understanding of design principles, ergonomics, and residential standards
• In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, and hardware
• Ability to evaluate design from both functional and aesthetic perspectives
• Skilled in creating precise technical drawings
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong communication skills — English, Telugu, or Hindi is a plus
