Job summary
Leading Architecture & Interior Firm in Chennai seeks an experienced Interior Designer to manage end-to-end commercial interior projects from concept to execution. You will work on corporate offices, showrooms and hospitality spaces, presenting designs for client approvals.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial interiors, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray or Lumion, and Photoshop. Immediate joiner preferred in West Mogappair, Chennai.
Qualifications
- http://B.Arch / http://B.Des / Diploma in Interior Design - Mandatory
- 3-5 Years proven experience in Commercial Interiors only (Office / Retail / Hospitality)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray / Lumion, Photoshop is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior styling, materials, detailing and execution
- Good client handling, presentation and communication skills
- Must be currently available in Chennai and able to join immediately
- Portfolio of commercial interior projects is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Design & develop interior concepts for Commercial Projects - Corporate Offices, Retail Stores, Showrooms, Hospitality
- Prepare detailed interior drawings, working drawings, GFC and detailed joinery drawings
- Develop 3D models, renders, mood boards and presentations for client approvals
- Material selection - Finishes, furniture, lighting, ceiling, flooring & decor
- Coordinate with MEP, Architects, Vendors, Contractors and Project Execution team
- Handle client meetings, site visits, and ensure design execution as per drawings
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and quality standards
- Prepare BOQ, cost estimates and material specificationsSite supervision and resolving site queries during execution
