Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Specialist role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Design Specialist will create functional and visually appealing residential and commercial interiors aligned with client requirements and brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting furniture and finishes, preparing design concepts and mood boards, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications. The role involves collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and vendors, producing detailed drawings and documentation, overseeing installation quality, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The specialist will also stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies to enhance overall design quality and user experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Furniture selection and FF&E specification and coordination.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for client interaction, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic project documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering interior design projects from concept to completion, ideally in residential or commercial environments.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and a solution-oriented approach to design and site challenges.
• Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and vendor ecosystems in Bengaluru is an advantage.
