Job summary

Zafify in Delhi invites an interior designer to join our premium luxury showroom in Green Park. You will consult with clients to translate lifestyle and space needs into beautiful, functional interiors, guiding selections of furniture, finishes, and layouts that reflect high-end taste.

We seek a creative, client-facing professional with strong communication and visualization skills, capable of delivering end-to-end design guidance for residential spaces and ensuring showroom standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and consult walk-in customers to understand space, lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements.
• Recommend furniture, décor, layouts, and styling solutions based on customer's taste and budget.
• Create room layouts, furniture plans, and basic space designs to help visualize interiors.
• Provide end-to-end design guidance for residential spaces, including living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas.
• Develop furniture placement plans that maximize functionality and visual appeal.
• Assist customers in selecting materials, finishes, colours, and upholstery.
• Ensure every recommendation aligns with showroom's premium design standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional service and personalized consultations.
• Follow up with clients regarding quotations, design proposals, and order updates.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery.
• Maintain an elegant and inspiring showroom presentation.
• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, luxury furniture styles, and home décor concepts.
• Contribute ideas to improve the customer experience and showroom aesthetics.

• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D software, or similar applications is an advantage.


• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.


• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.


• Experience working in premium furniture or luxury retail showrooms.


• Knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, upholstery, and home styling.


• Basic understanding of residential interior planning and customer psychology.


• Ability to prepare simple mood boards or visual presentations for clients.
