Job summary

HomeLane is seeking a creative and customer-focused Interior Designer to manage residential design projects from consultation to order booking, delivering functional and aesthetic solutions aligned with budgets.

You will collaborate with customers, translate requirements into detailed designs and production drawings, and coordinate with production, operations, and installation teams to ensure a smooth, delightful experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design or Architecture (1–3 years).
• Proficiency in SketchUp and strong space planning fundamentals.
• Experience with residential design projects and site feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned HomeLane customers from initial consultation to design finalization and order booking.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into practical and aesthetically appealing design concepts.
• Create accurate quotations, detailed designs, and production-ready drawings.
• Ensure designs are feasible, installation-friendly, and aligned with site conditions.
• Coordinate with internal teams for seamless project execution.
• Present design concepts and pricing confidently to customers.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and drive conversion targets.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and customer-focused Interior Designer to manage residential design projects at HomeLane.

In this role, you will work closely with customers from the first consultation to design finalization and order booking, delivering functional, aesthetic, and budget-aligned solutions. This position requires strong design fundamentals, working knowledge of site execution, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customers while ensuring a smooth and delightful experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned HomeLane customers from initial consultation to design finalization and order booking.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into practical and aesthetically appealing design concepts.
• Create accurate quotations, detailed designs, and production-ready drawings.
• Ensure designs are feasible, installation-friendly, and aligned with site conditions.
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, operations, and installation) for seamless project execution.
• Present design concepts and pricing confidently to customers.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and drive conversion targets.

Required Expertise & Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 2-6 years of experience in residential interior design projects.
• Basic site experience with understanding of installation feasibility.
• Proficiency in Google SketchUp (mandatory).
• Strong fundamentals in space planning, modular furniture, materials, and execution processes.
• Customer-centric approach with ability to balance design, functionality, and budget.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.
