Job summary

Elita Interiors, Bengaluru-based interior design and execution studio, is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to develop design concepts, create layouts, and prepare drawings for residential and commercial projects. • Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and presentation tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; studio or site experience is an advantage.

With its own in-house production facility, Elita Interiors maintains strict control over quality, consistency, and timelines. The team collaborates closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver well-crafted interiors that align with both aesthetic and practical requirements.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, create detailed layouts, and prepare drawings and presentations for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, material and finishes selection, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and working closely with the production team to ensure accurate execution. The role involves site visits, measurement verification, and collaboration with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to monitor progress and resolve design or execution issues. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, gather requirements, present design proposals, and support project documentation and quality checks through to installation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into practical and aesthetic solutions.
• Knowledge of Architecture and understanding of building systems relevant to interior projects.
• Proficiency in creating Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for on-site execution.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including materials, finishes, and furnishings.
• Strong proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior studio or site experience is an advantage.
