Job summary

SpazioLiv in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking an Interior Sales Designer who can translate client requirements into design solutions and close projects. You will blend interior design knowledge with sales skills, handling clients from initial briefing through handover.

You will meet clients, develop concepts, present proposals, negotiate quotations, and collaborate with design, estimation, and execution teams to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in interior design or architecture required.
• 2–5 years of interior design sales experience.
• Strong sales ability and interior-design understanding.
• Candidates with strong sales experience may be considered.

We are looking for a talented and target-oriented Interior Sales Designer who can understand clients’ requirements, create suitable interior design solutions, and convert leads into successful projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of interior design knowledge, sales skills, client handling, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, requirements, budget, and design preferences.
• Develop interior design concepts and presentations based on client requirements.
• Prepare space planning, layouts, material selections, and design proposals.
• Present designs and quotations professionally to clients.
• Generate sales through leads, references, walk-ins, and follow-ups.
• Convert prospective clients into confirmed interior projects.
• Build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, project execution, and operations teams.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations while ensuring company pricing and profitability.
• Follow up regularly with leads and maintain accurate sales records.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, finishes, and products.
• Handle client queries, objections, negotiations, and closing effectively.
• Ensure a smooth handover of confirmed projects to the execution team.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of interior design and space planning.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

• Ability to understand drawings, layouts, and 3D designs.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior products.

• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

Software Knowledge

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp / 3ds Max
• MS Office / Google Workspace
• CRM software is an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in interior design sales, residential interiors, modular interiors, or a related industry.
• Candidates with strong sales experience and good interior-design understanding may also be considered.
