Job summary

Imperio Railing Systems in Mumbai offers an Interior Design Internship where you will create interior design drawings in AutoCAD, build 3D models in SketchUp, and produce visuals using 3ds Max or Blender, while supporting product development and design reviews. Qualifications

• Proficiency with AutoCAD for interior plans, elevations and details.
• Experience creating 3D models in SketchUp and evaluating layouts.
• Ability to produce presentation visuals and rendered views in 3ds Max or Blender 3D.
• Familiarity with documenting revisions and organizing design concepts.
• Knowledge of 3D printing workflows and integrating prototypes.

Responsibilities

About the internship

As an Interior Design Intern at Imperio, you'll support design projects by developing clear drawings, exploring concepts, and preparing visual materials for review. You'll work with the team to turn design direction into organized, detailed outputs while building practical design and product development skills.

1. Create and update interior design drawings in AutoCAD, including plans, elevations, and detail views, based on project direction.
2. Develop 3D models in Google SketchUp to explore layouts, proportions, and design options.
3. Produce presentation visuals and rendered views using Autodesk 3ds Max or Blender 3D.
4. Assist with product development by organizing design concepts, documenting revisions, and preparing materials for team review. Use 3D Printing technology to design new products.
5. Use Autodesk Fusion 360 to model components or design details when a project calls for precise 3D geometry.
6. Gather and organize reference images, dimensions, and project notes so design files are consistent and easy to follow.
7. Incorporate feedback into drawings and models, checking details and keeping updated files ready for review.
