Job summary

EDC Creative Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a multidisciplinary design and technology company specialising in immersive Experience Centres, Museums, and Themed Environments.

We are seeking an Interior Architect with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to join our growing design team, capable of both concept work and site execution. The role requires travel to project sites across India as needed, with a strong portfolio and proficiency in common design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (Diploma holders will be considered).
• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in interior architecture, experiential design, or related fields.
• Experience in conceptual design for Experience Centres, Museums, or Themed Environments is desirable.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, 3Ds Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop; working knowledge of Premiere Pro is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design interior spaces including permanent architectural elements, experiential zones, and temporary installations for Experience Centres and Museums.
• Produce detailed sketches, drawings, floor plans, and 3D visualisations to communicate design intent to clients and internal teams.
• Develop and present mood boards, colour palettes, and material selections to create cohesive environments.
• Prepare and manage project timelines, ensuring design milestones are met from concept through to final delivery.
• Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) accurately to support project costing and procurement.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and the project management team to ensure seamless on-site execution aligned with design specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits and on-site observations; provide timely recommendations to resolve design or execution challenges.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients; demonstrate project execution stages on-site as required.
• Research and evaluate new materials, finishes, and design concepts to support innovation and technical development within the team.
• Ensure compliance with applicable national and local building codes, safety regulations, and design standards throughout every project.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Interior Architect with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate is someone who is equally comfortable sketching a concept and walking a construction site — someone who brings both creative vision and execution discipline to every project. Experience in conceptual design is desirable. You will be expected to travel to project sites across India as and when required.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognised institution (Diploma holders will also be considered).
• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in interior architecture, experiential design, or related fields.
• Experience in conceptual design for Experience Centres, Museums, or Themed Environments is desirable.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, and Photoshop; working knowledge of Premiere Pro is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, project costing, and site execution processes.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across India as per project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills — particularly the ability to articulate and present design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects, conceptual thinking, and execution capability.
• Collaborative, proactive, and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks within defined timelines.
