Job summary

CS Direkt, a Delhi-based experiential design firm, seeks an Architect – Experiential Projects to lead architectural design, spatial planning, and technical development for museums, exhibitions, heritage spaces, and immersive installations.

The role requires strong design capability, experience on government or institutional projects, and hands-on use of AI-driven design tools and visualization technologies to enhance concept development and project execution.

Qualifications

• Min 4+ years of experience in architecture, spatial design, or experiential design projects and exhibition.
• Min 4+ years of Experience working on government projects, museums, exhibitions, heritage spaces, or institutional infrastructure will be highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch), Exhibition Design, Spatial Design, or a related architectural discipline.
• Strong expertise in architectural design, spatial planning, and concept development.
• Experience working on experiential design, museums, exhibitions, heritage projects, themed environments, or cultural infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of government project workflows, tender, approvals, and documentation processes.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, engineers, and project managers.
• Hands-on experience with AI-based design tools and visualization technologies is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, aesthetics, and technical precision. Excellent communication, presentation, and design articulation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, spatial layouts, and design solutions for experiential environments including museums, exhibitions, heritage installations, and experience centres.
• Translate creative concepts into architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Prepare drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and design development drawings.
• Collaborate with creative, design, engineering, and project teams for feasibility.
• Support concept development, design presentations, and visual documentation for proposals.
• Ensure design compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and project specs.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, site teams for accurate implementation.
• Handle site visits, design reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Integrate immersive design elements and digital technologies into planning.
• Use AI-powered design tools to enhance concept generation and visualization.
• Review and refine drawings to maintain high quality and accuracy.
• Maintain design documentation and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Overview

The Architect – Experiential Projects will be responsible for architectural design, spatial planning, and technical development of projects including museums, exhibition spaces, heritage interpretation centres, immersive installations, and experience centres. The role requires a professional with strong architectural design capabilities, experience working on government or institutional projects, and hands‑on familiarity with AI-driven design tools and visualization technologies to enhance concept development and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, spatial layouts, and design solutions for experiential environments including museums, exhibitions, heritage installations, and experience centres.
• Translate creative and experiential concepts into architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Prepare architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and design development drawings in alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with creative, design, engineering, and project teams to ensure architectural outputs align with experiential storytelling and technical feasibility.
• Support concept development, design presentations, and visual documentation for project proposals and client presentations.
