Job summary

Medico Hub in Mumbai is seeking an Intensivist for MICU to lead patient care in a high-acuity environment. The role requires MD Anesthesiology or MBBS with IDCCM and active MMC registration, with experience in critical care and independent patient management in the MICU.

12-hour shift patterns in a multi-speciality hospital setting offer exposure to advanced MICU facilities, professional growth, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• MD Anesthesiology with valid MMC/Maharashtra Medical Council registration.
• MBBS with IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) and MMC registration.
• Experience in MICU/Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage patients admitted to the MICU.
• Assess, stabilize, and treat critically ill medical patients.
• Manage ventilators, invasive monitoring, and hemodynamic support.
• Perform ICU procedures including central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, intubation, and airway management.
• Handle sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, poisoning, multi-organ dysfunction, and other critical emergencies.
• Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ICU notes, and discharge summaries.
• Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards.
