Role
Integration of Total Vehicle / DTK / Virtual Vehicle- DMU
- Drive the integration and development of complete vehicle concepts through Digital Prototype (DTK) and Virtual Vehicle methodologies.
- Play a key role in ensuring seamless interaction between vehicle systems, components, and functions across the entire product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams, vehicle architects, and domain experts to deliver premium BMW mobility solutions.
- Leverage advanced digital engineering and virtual validation technologies to identify and resolve integration issues early in development.
- Work within BMWTechWorks India's Digital Product Engineering (DPE) organization, influencing vehicle performance, quality, and customer experience.
- Be part of a highly innovative and cross-functional environment that promotes technical excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Gain exposure to complete vehicle development, system integration, virtual validation, and next-generation mobility technologies. Administer and maintain PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia).
- Ensure data integrity, version control, and compliance with company standards.
- Support PLM workflows for product development and change management.
- Create and manage Virtual BoMs for new and existing products.
Must have technical skill
- 8+ years of experience in Total Vehicle Integration, DTK, Virtual Vehicle, or Digital Engineering.
- Strong understanding of complete vehicle architecture, packaging, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with DMU validation, virtual feasibility studies, and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in CATIA, Teamcenter, VisMockup/NX, or equivalent CAD/PLM tools.
- Experience in cross-functional coordination across Body, Interior, Exterior, Chassis, E/E, and Powertrain domains.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes, configuration management, and engineering releases.
- Ability to identify and resolve vehicle-level packaging, clearance, and integration issues.
- Experience in vehicle maturity reviews and virtual validation activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline.
- Exposure to at least two complete vehicle development programs.
- Strong understanding of automotive quality standards, compliance, and development methodologies.
Good to have Technical skills
- CATIA and Prisma
- Experience with supplier collaboration and product data exchange standards
- Virtual Vehicle vaidation experience
- Familiarity with CAD visualization tools such as Teamcenter Visualization, VisMockup, or similar
