Job summary

Genius Consultants in Pune is seeking an experienced integration engineer to design and develop seamless integrations between ERP, MES, SCADA, PLC/OT systems, and other enterprise applications.

You will build and maintain APIs, middleware, and ETL pipelines, collaborate with OT and manufacturing teams, and ensure secure, scalable data flow across systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in system/application integration, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL.
• Understanding API authentication and security.
• Data mapping and transformation.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations between ERP, MES, SCADA, PLC/OT systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain APIs, web services, middleware, ETL pipelines, and event-based integrations.
• Integrate shop-floor equipment and systems with enterprise applications using appropriate industrial communication protocols.
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, MQTT, OPC-UA, TCP/IP and messaging platforms.
• Analyze integration requirements and translate manufacturing needs into technical solutions.
• Monitor interfaces, troubleshoot failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement logging, error handling, alerting, retry mechanisms, and data validation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and OT teams to integrate machines, sensors, PLCs, SCADA and MES systems.
• Support data synchronization between manufacturing systems and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Develop technical documentation, interface specifications, data mappings, and integration architecture diagrams.
• Participate in testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure integrations comply with security, quality, and data-governance standards.
• Work with vendors and third-party technology providers when required.

Required Skills
