Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced MES integration engineer in Pune to design, implement, and support DELMIA Apriso MES solutions across manufacturing sites. You will integrate PLCs, SCADA, and ERP systems, develop interfaces via OPC UA, MQTT, and REST, and ensure data collection, OEE, and quality management align with GMP and ISO standards.

The role requires 3+ years in MES, strong SQL/Oracle skills, and familiarity with ISA-95/ISA-88.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of MES experience.
• Hands-on DELMIA Apriso MES development and configuration.
• Experience integrating equipment and PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi).
• Knowledge of OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, SECS/GEM.
• Strong SQL and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with Web Services, REST APIs, XML, JSON, middleware.
• Familiar with ISA-95/ISA-88 and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Cloud integration with Azure or AWS; CI/CD and DevOps familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Relate product functionality to business processes and provide implementation advice for customer scenarios.
• Design, develop, and implement machine integrations with DELMIA Apriso MES.
• Configure and support communication between PLCs, SCADA systems, machines, and Apriso applications.
• Develop interfaces using OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, SOAP, TCP/IP, and industrial protocols.
• Integrate Apriso with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Configure machine data collection, production tracking, OEE, downtime monitoring, and quality management processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and support procedures.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across MES, automation, network, and database layers.
• Participate in MES deployment, upgrades, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, automation engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, FDA, ISO, and cybersecurity requirements where applicable.
